I’m Gunasekhar Sumanth, a passionate musician, educator, and performer with over 12 years of experience in live music and 10 years in session playing and composition. As a concert guitarist, I’ve performed with renowned artists and worked on films like Virata Parvam and George Reddy. Get In TouchI’m Gunasekhar Sumanth, a musician, educator, and performer with 12+ years of live music experience and 10 years in session playing and composition. For 6 years, I worked as a full-time musician, balancing teaching, performing, and recording.
I performed as a concert guitarist for Hemachandra, Sravana Bhargavi, Fusion Band, Pakka Music Band, and Nigama Band. As a session player, my work featured in films like Sakunthala, Seetha Rama Puramlo, George Reddy and Worked in Commerical Ads like blume and political ads. I also composed for various short films, blending blues, jazz, contemporary, and Western classical styles.
Education & Teaching
Earned certifications from Trinity College London, California Institute of Arts, and the University of Rochester. Taught Rockschool syllabus & Logic Pro music production. With 8+ years of teaching, I mentored students in stage dynamics, performance techniques, and music theory at Fusion School of Music and Dance, organizing concerts and charity events like Sparsh Hospice.
